Jesse Lusko has been in ordained pastoral ministry for over 17 years. He and his wife Bekah have served at churches in Albuquerque, Southern California, and Southeast Portland. They have faced some brutal hardships, met God in the furnace, and discovered a grace that can last through anything.

They first moved to Portland in 2015 and later founded Counterculture Church in 2023. Their passion is to warmly show skeptics the captivating beauty of Jesus and stir Christians into community and toward loving those on the margins.

They live in downtown Portland with their two children, Lyon and River. Catch them exploring a waterfall or a new book on their day off.
